Overview

I was brought in to lead design for a global identity wallet in Sierra Leone through the Kiva partnership. The mission was to create a secure and practical foundation for digital identity at national scale.

Key Contributions

Design leadership: I led the product from early concept through launch and aligned stakeholders around a clear user and policy direction.

Flow architecture: I designed core identity and verification journeys with a focus on security, simplicity, and accessibility.

Global collaboration: I partnered with international teams to adapt platform decisions to local regulations, technical constraints, and long term scale.

Outcome

The wallet launched successfully and strengthened digital identity infrastructure in Sierra Leone. It also established a practical model that can inform future public sector identity programs.
